GRL Platform Solutions, a global leader in automated test solutions for digital connectivity and charging technologies, has announced that its comprehensive DisplayPort™ 2.1 Test Automation Solutions for Transmitters (GRL-DP21-TX) and Receivers (GRL-DP21-SINK-AN) have been approved by VESA to conduct compliance testing for official DP/DPAM Source and Sink PHY certification.
DisplayPort 2.1 is the latest standard for high-performance display connectivity, designed to meet the growing demand for higher resolutions, faster refresh rates, and improved efficiency. Supporting up to 80 Gbps of bandwidth, DisplayPort 2.1 enables seamless transmission of 8K video, high dynamic range (HDR), and advanced gaming and professional workflows. With enhanced interoperability through USB4® and USB Type-C®, this standard ensures compatibility across a wide range of devices, making it a critical technology for next-generation displays and content delivery.
GRL-DP21-TX offers complete compliance automation to the DisplayPort 2.1 standard. It is compatible with Tektronix and Keysight oscilloscopes and supports data rates of UHBR10 (10 Gbps), UHBR13.5 (13.5 Gbps) and UHBR20 (20 Gbps).
GRL-DP21-SINK-AN delivers comprehensive compliance automation for testing Sink products to the DisplayPort 2.1 standard. This solution is compatible with Tektronix and Keysight oscilloscopes alongside the Anritsu MP1900A BERT to calibrate stressed eye openings and perform receiver jitter tolerance, BER, and jitter margin testing.
